The black acylic glass basin has a double bottom with a hole in its middle. Out of this hole water is rising into the upper basin. Patterns of interferences become visible on the surface of the rising water level. After a couple of minutes the hidden pump stops and the water’s surface seems to be almost still. While the water flows back a small vortex is created. After 60 seconds when nothing happens the periodical cycle starts all over again.
